Dance Clubs in Barcelona

Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain, is one of the world`s leading tourist destination. It is also one of the most sought after cultural and sports destinations in the world. As it is a popular destination for tourists, Barcelona is one of the most nicely connected cities. The city has a rich and colorful history, and many of its locations have been declared ad World Heritage sites by UNESCO. The city is also of its rich cultural heritage.

Like all favorite tourist hotspots Barcelona is also bustling with all kinds of dance clubs, catering to almost kinds of taste and ambience. These are the places where you can shake a leg after a tiring day outdoors, or just dance away into the night, with the music. Here is a list of a few favorites of the crowd- both local and tourists across the globe.
1. Agua de Luna
The club is located in the western part of Eixample, and is open from Wednesday to Sunday. It’s a seriously hip club and with everything from hip-hop to salsa, and top DJs performing late into the night. It is a place to be for dancing away into the night.
2. Shôko
This is a club visited regularly by the celebrities both national and international. It’s a perfect place, to be shot alongside your favorite celebrity. The disc also has an excellent restaurant and remains open till the early morning hours.
3. Salsitas
This is an exclusively and artfully designed and decorated dance club. It serves excellent food and is famous for its star DJs. Famous and popular as a Latin dance club, this is frequented by the upcoming models and upcoming celebs.
4. Buda Barcelona
Located in Eixample, Buda Barcelona is the hottest spot to be in. Frequented by a lots of Who`s Who from the entertainment industry, with international fame, it is a beautiful place to hang out. The glitz, the glamour, everything is there along with beautiful music.
5. Antilla BCN Latin Club
Salsa, meringue, son cubano till dawn, well Antilla BCN is the place for all that and much more. The first steps of hips or the secrets of hips are taught by the instructors, in the opening hours and you can keep practicing it into the night. The place prides itself as the Caribbean culture center, and has an in-house magazine to keep you in-tune with the latest trends and moves in the world of dancing.
6. Apolo
Situated at Nou de la Rambala`s western end, it is one of the few places with live music, to dance with and a nice place to be partying hard.
7. Bikini
This is mainly a joint for college students, and it has different sections catering to the tastes. Music from the `80s and `90s are there to dance with and not to forget the hip-hop, flunk, Latin fusion and of course Salsa. Food and drinks are excellent, but the Dry Bikini (grilled Cheese sandwich) is a specialty-from which the joint gets its name.
8. Costa Breve
An excellent place to sway with the rhythms of pop, funk and other popular dance numbers, this place is hot and happening among the young crowd. Arena Madre, Barcelona City Hall, Búcaro, Caravan, Carpe Diem Lounge Club (CDLM), Elephant, La Paloma, Loft, Luz de Luna, Metro Disco, Otto Zutz Rat King retro Lounge are some of the famous names in Barcelona where you can take a break and dance away the nights.
